What do you believe?

For me, I believe...

1. There are moral certitudes.

2. Liberty is the greatest moral certitude.

3. The Constitution of the United States of America, more than any document in history, captures the best of man's hopes and ideals, while laying the groundwork for attaining them.

4. The United States of America is the single greatest hope for mankind.

5. The greatest threats to the United States over the last 100 years have been ideological, as well as physical threats. These threats are Communism, as an ideology, and the Soviet Union/China as the physical threats; Fascism, as in Italy and Germany of the 1930's and 40's; and now Islamic Terror or Islamo Fascism.

6. The greatest internal threat to the United States at this time is modern Liberalism, as espoused by the political, secular and religious left. This form of Liberalism, unlike classical liberalism, weakens the character of man, distorts his moral compass, and supplants man's common sense with false sciences such as environmentalism, humanism, health, and peace.

7. The United States and the majority of the world's nations, including those nations who do not support the war against terror or the war in Iraq, are at war with the Islamo Fascist or at risk of being attacked. International organizations, led by the United Nations, are by their nature aiding the enemies of the United States through their capitulation, appeasement and warped sense of justice. In effect, these bodies are primarily a force for evil.

8. A battle between good and evil are effective terms for describing the clash of civilizations underway.

9. Winning this war is an absolute must for the sake of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Winning this war will require a government willing to engage the enemy on all fronts, capable of determining who that enemy is, and with the foresight to prepare for such findings.

As am I, this is a work in progress. Feel free to comment or send email.
