The 9/11 Commission Report
Now that I've had a little time with the report, I'm convinced that it'll really mean nothing to the future of our nation. If it does it'll be because it kept the press from talking about the real issue (the general inclination of the Democratic Party to weaken national defense). This should have been made clear by the hearings process and the way the media made it appear as if Condi Rice was the weak link in our system, while it should have been clear that Richard Clarke, Sandy Berger and President Clinton failed us all.
In this case the best news is that President Bush is holding al-Qaeda accountable. And the really good news is that those who've supported al-Qaeda, those who are inclined to support them and those who by their agression to the U.S. are allied with them, are being taken to task and destroyed in combat when necessary.
The report is available here.
